Contrada Kindra App LLC

Usually one person is holding all of it.

In families managing complex care, the medication schedule, the appointment history, the insurance card, the IEP, and the question of who called the pharmacy all tend to live in one person's head.

Kindra App LLC is an Iowa software company building Contrada, a coordination app that moves that load out of one head and into a place the whole family can see.

In development. Not yet released.

What Contrada does

Three things at launch, each built for a caregiver who is standing up, holding a phone in one hand, and short on time.

  • Family Dashboard

One shared view of the day. What is due, what happened, and who did it, visible to everyone the family has invited in.

  • Medication Tracker

Doses, times, and a record of what was actually given. Built for households where two or three people give medication on different days.

  • Document Vault

Insurance cards, guardianship orders, prior authorizations, and IEPs. Kept where they can be found in an emergency room intake rather than filed where they can be found eventually.

Who it is for

Families supporting a child or adult with complex medical needs, including pediatric care and intellectual and developmental disability care. These are households where care is shared across parents, grandparents, siblings, and paid caregivers, and where the cost of a missed detail is real.

Contrada is a personal tool for a family, not a clinical system. It is not a medical device, it does not connect to a hospital record, and it does not give medical advice.

What a day looks like

The clearest way to explain Contrada is to walk through an ordinary Tuesday in a family that shares care.

7:40 AM
A father gives the morning dose before the school run and logs it. It takes one tap.
11:15 AM
A grandmother arriving for the afternoon opens the dashboard in the driveway. She can see the dose was given, so she does not have to call and ask.
2:30 PM
A neurologist's office calls to move an appointment. Whoever answers writes it down once, in the place everyone else already looks.
6:05 PM
An urgent care visit. The insurance card and the current medication list come up on a phone in the waiting room instead of being reconstructed from memory.

None of that is dramatic. The point is that no one had to be reached, reminded, or asked to repeat themselves.

Founding families

Contrada is being built with a small number of families rather than for them. Founding families get the app before it reaches the App Store, and their week shapes what gets built next.

The commitment is honest about what it is. You use it for your own family, and you tell us when something is wrong, missing, or in the way.

If that sounds like your household, write to either address below and say a little about who you care for.
